Taming the Dragon Within
Often, the beast rages wild,
With passion's deafening roar.
Reason cowers from its might,
As chaos reigns at core.
Withering from the heavy toll,
Of doubts tearing through the soul.
A trail of wounds left in its wake
Begs a change to make.
Wisdom tries to find its voice,
Listens, ponders, in a peaceful tone.
Offers calm, a different choice,
And tames the fiery ghoul.
Through silent talks of mind and heart,
On endless walks and circling thoughts,
They still spar on, but more a dance,
a passionate romance?
